So, what exactly does an event planner do? Let's take a look at some of the key skills involved.

CLIENT COMMUNICATIONS

An event planner will be the main point of contact between a client and the myriad of partners and suppliers that make up an event. They'll be there from the very beginning, through the idea stages and right up to the event day, so clear and consistent communication is vital throughout.
